Sonia Kronlund
Journalist, screenwriter, and film director Sonia Kronlund is a former student of the prestigious École Normale Supérieure and holds an agrégation de lettres modernes. She taught at Université Paris Diderot before joining France Inter, where she learned her new trade on the show "Là-bas si j'y suis" under the guidance of Daniel Mermet. In 2002, she launched her own radio show on France Culture, "Les Pieds sur terre." The show, which has now been running for over 20 years and counts over 1,300 episodes, records the uninterrupted voices of French people.  
Sonia Kronlund has also worked in cinema. She co-wrote the film, Raï, by Thomas Gillou, and directed several documentaries for cinema and television. Her film, Nothingwood (2017), was presented at the Directors' Fortnight at the Cannes Film Festival in 2017.
Makenzy Orcel
Born in Haiti, Makenzy Orcel is the author of acclaimed collections of poems and novels, including L'Ombre animale (Zulma, 2016, winner of the Littérature-monde prize and the Louis-Guilloux prize), Maître-Minuit (Zulma, 2018), and L'Empereur (2021). His second novel published by Rivages, Une somme humaine (2022), was a finalist for the Prix Goncourt.
